Hello, my name is Leah Pollitt, owner of Wandering West Threads.  Thanks for stopping by my online apparel shop!  A little about me... I grew up in a small town in Eastern Alberta, Canada.  As much as I loved the Neutral Hills that surrounded our farm back home, I knew one day I would move from there. Something was calling me and when I first laid eyes on the Rocky Mountains I knew I was meant to be near them.  I have always had a love for the farm life, camping, riding horses, animals, wildlife, hunting, fishing and anything that took me outdoors to have fun. 

I eventually settled as close as I could to the mountains and am now an Oilfield Wife to one hard working supportive guy since 2001(yup almost 20 years) & Mama to 5 awe-inspiring kids. We enjoy road trips, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, horse back riding, skiing all in the mountains we call home!

Inspired by nature, wildlife conservation and protecting our Alberta Rockies, I've always wondered how I can do more and give back to the backcountry and wildlife we are lucky enough to enjoy. I came up with our Wandering West Threads logos and contacted a local Alberta apparel designer/developer and the rest is history!  Over the past year we quickly grew and have moved to another local Alberta apparel company to help produce even more branded merchandise!
